Is SSH enabled by default? Print
- 0
SSH is not enabled on our Shared plan's by default but can enabled upon request.
A Support ticket would be required to enable Jailed SSH on your shared account.
In order to SSH you will need a SSH client (Such as Putty which is widely used and free).
Once you have downloaded your SSH client and SSH has been enabled you can use the below information to access your account.
====
SSH Port - 22
Hostname - Your domain name (Or server's IP).
=======
You will then be prompted for your username and password which would be the same as your cPanel login details.
